Welcome to 2025!
As we kick off the new year, I wanted to send out well-wishes to all Customer Obsessed Engineering readers. May 2025 be an outstanding year for all of us!
The past few weeks have been filled with lots of travel — not just for us, but for everyone, it seems. According to the United Nations tourism statistics, “international arrivals reached 98% of 2019 levels in January-September 2024 (-2% over same period of 2019). International tourism receipts saw extraordinary growth, surpassing pre-pandemic levels in most destinations.” And rounding out the year, Axios reports the TSA anticipates screening 40 million people through airports over the holidays — over a 6% increase compared to last year.
We’re still looking forward to a bit of New Year’s fun before settling back into a “work rhythm” and kicking off the new year with a solid publishing schedule. There are half a dozen topics in various states of progress.
