I’m always scrambling to find a few good gifts for at the last minute. For your friends and family geeks, here’s my list. (I always try to find something that’s actually useful, not just some trinket that nobody really wants…)

  1. Toe socks. I know, goofy — but what geek doesn’t want to be cozy while coding? Wool hiking toe socks $7.99

  2. Simply the most amazing book I’ve read in the past few years: “The Name of the Wind” by Patrick Rothfuss $9.89 paperback or $25.61 hardcover

  3. For the retro minded, let’s roll back to 1980: Casio Men's Vintage Calculator Watch $21.92

  4. Tee-shirts are always a hit:
